Doctor Mouna

Trendsetting doctor, neuroscientist and entrepreneur, who cheated death as a 3-year-old, has been singing with Pavarotti, is part of the Royal Technology Mission headed by the Swedish King and who shares her wisdom regularly on national television.

About Dr.Mouna

Dr. Mouna was born in Iran in 1980, and fled to Sweden at the age of three. Barely surviving the dramatic journey as refugee through the cold mountains, the life in Sweden was a gift and an opportunity to great academic and professional achievements.

Today, Dr. Mouna is a medical doctor, neuroscientist, entrepreneur and a Swedish TV profile covering science, technology, health, brain and the future. She has won numerous prestigeos awards, being recognized as a "Super talent" and one of the "Most Powerful Profiles in MedTech" in Sweden.

Previous to her academic career within medicine at the Karolinska Institutet, Dr. Mouna studied music and natural sciences, followed by studies up to a Master’s degree in philosophy. In addition, she has worked with human rights in the UN.

Thought Leader

In 2009, Dr. Mouna founded SciLife Clinic, an internationally recognized longevity clinic with a pioneering and unique concept, using the latest science and technology to prevent diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and cancer. She gained international acknowledgement for being the first physician integrating genetic analyses as part of advanced health check-ups on her patients, including world famous artists, athletes and business icons.

For the last decade, Dr. Mouna has actively been pushing for a paradigm shift within healthcare, promoting digitalization and the use of modern technology such as artificial intelligence and genetics for patient care and to prevent diseases and increase healthy years of life.

After selling SciLife 2016, she has been focusing on spreading knowledge and science, being the TV expert during the Nobel Prize and sharing her wisdom in her own program "Popular science with Dr. Mouna" where she makes science understandable in the most popular Swedish morning TV.
